Funny Photo Booth is run by Andon from Penrith. More than 500 weddings, parties and corporate dos across Cumbria, the Lake District and South Scotland, and the job hasn’t changed: turn up on time, set up properly, send everyone home smiling.
Funny Photo Booth started in 2010 with one booth, one van and a simple idea: a photo booth should be the easiest thing you book for your event. Fifteen years and more than 500 events later, we’re still based in Penrith — and still small enough that when you call, you talk to the person who’ll actually be running your booth.
That person is Andon. He answers your first email, loads the van, sets up before your guests arrive, keeps the props table in order, shows Nan which button to press, and sends your gallery over once the dust settles. There’s no agency in the middle and no stranger turning up on the night.
Being local matters in this line of work.
